About Us
Captain Scott Kipp
Scott is a born and raised “Kent Islander” who lives on Crab Alley Creek. He's been a licensed USCG charter boat captain since 2004, a member of NACO (National Association of Charterboat Operators), & member of MCBA (Maryland Charter Boat Association).
He grew up fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. Scott learned his craft from the “old-timers”. He worked on his grandfather's charter boat, Saroma5, which also ran out of Queen Anne Marina. Scott is a captain because he wants to share his love of fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay with you.
About the Nancy Ellen
The Nancy Ellen is a 46' Chesapeake Bay deadrise built in 1986 by Robert Meekins in Church Creek, MD. She's mahogany over oak-frame with classic lines and attention to detail that led her to be the plug boat for the 46' Markley. Built for Captain Bill Fish, who ran her as a charter boat in Knapps Narrows from the time she was launched until Captain Scott took possession of her in 2016. Her home port is Queen Anne Marina on Kent Island, MD.
